What is required for me to be able to pay with my Cryptocurrency?

To use ForumPay®, a buyer should select Premium Title Services™ (PTS) as their title and escrow provider and follow instructions that will direct them to the ForumPay® website to convert Cryptocurrency to USD on the ForumPay® platform. ForumPay® will then arrange a wire transfer of the USD funds to PTS. All Cryptocurrency users have the option to use any other Cryptocurrency exchange provider and then submit payment to PTS via a traditional wire transfer, after the Cryptocurrency is converted to USD, for any properties where they are the selected bidder.

Neither Altisource S.à r.l. nor any of its business entities manage or store any personal information of Cryptocurrency users during the Cryptocurrency exchange process. Do I have to use ForumPay®?

The value of Cryptocurrency fluctuates constantly, how do I know what rate is being used to complete payment?

If a buyer elects to use ForumPay® as a third-party provider or any other Cryptocurrency conversion service provider, the buyer assumes the risk of fluctuating market rates for Cryptocurrency at all times during the transaction. Altisource S.à r.l., Altisource Online Auction, Inc., and their business entities do not provide Cryptocurrency exchange services, are not responsible in any manner for the conversion of Cryptocurrency, and cannot guarantee any exchange rate or conversion rate for Cryptocurrency. All Cryptocurrency users have the option to use any Cryptocurrency exchange provider and exchange their Cryptocurrency at the rate set by that provider.

What happens if I don't have enough Cryptocurrency to complete my transaction?

Before placing a bid, buyers should verify that they have enough Cryptocurrency and/or traditional funds to complete the purchase of the property. If during the transaction, the Cryptocurrency exchange rate is such that the Cryptocurrency cannot cover the full Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) payment or the purchase price of the property, the buyer can submit the balance of the payment via a traditional wire transfer. When a buyer places a bid on a property marketed on Hubzu®, they agree to complete the purchase of the property if their bid is selected by the Seller and if the Seller agrees to sell the property to them. When a bid is selected, the selected bidder must sign a Purchase & Sale Agreement (PSA) and pay an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in the amount designated in the PSA. Failure to submit a signed PSA, pay the EMD and/or complete the purchase of the property may result in the Bid Deposit being converted from a hold to a non-refundable charge on the buyer's credit card. For more information on how the bidding process works on Hubzu® and what a Bid Deposit is, click here. The buyer assumes all risk of the Cryptocurrency market price fluctuations and assumes all responsibilities to complete the purchase of the property where they are the selected bidder regardless of the market rate of their Cryptocurrency.
